a profitable, well-managed Bermuda regulated insurance company, deliberately and capriciously destroyed by the Bermuda Monetary Authority ("The BMA")!!
Custodian Life was a profitable, successful, clean-audited investment insurance company with over 2,000 policyholders and over US$ 200 million of investment assets - then 2 BMA officers, Susan Davis-Crockwell and Gerald Gakundi, conspired to destroy it. Who suffered??? |

This insurance company was regulated in Bermuda by the BMA, had KPMG as its auditor,
As for the BMA? Established under the Bermuda Monetary Authority Act 1969, the Authority supervises, regulates and inspects financial institutions operating from within the jurisdiction. It's Mission Statement states "We contribute to Bermuda's financial stability, protect customers of financial services". It is supervised by the Ministry of Finance.
The Minister of Finance, also the Premier of Bermuda, has been petitioned to launch a government public inquiry into the behaviour of the BMA and its various officers!!.
